Assignment 3: Research and Moodboard
Current Thoughts on Thesis:
Since the last thesis class, I have been focusing on compiling more resources for my research and narrowing down ideas as well. I think that I would like to extend my project in a way that could be useful and interactive rather than just serve as an archive so I have been thinking of ways in which I could achieve that. I think going forward I would like to do some more research on the topic to get familiar with important aspects of it to see what I would like to incorporate into my project and start working on some prototypes.

︎︎︎ I started a visual moodboard broken down into categories such as form, signage, and other general sources of visual inspiration. It is a work in progress and I would ideally like to keep adding to it as my research progresses.
Sketches of Potential Prototypes:
︎︎︎I created some sketches for prospective ideas of prototypes to explore for the next thesis class meeting. I broke them down into web/mobile based project and physical artifacts that could be incorporated with the web based application which is something that I am considering doing. For the web/mobile based idea I am starting to do some more research on sites that exist that I would like to take inspiration from or has a similar format in which I think would work best for my project.

Plans for going forward:
1. Research and create experiments of envisioned output, mock ups, sketches.
2. Keep adding to moodboard and research resources.
3. Reach out and talk to 2-3 of contacts!!
4. Find more research resources about gentrification and design trends.
5. Go through research resources to familiarize myself with topic.
