Drawing Poetry introduces the art of visual poetry to anyone with or without previous exposure- with a simple drawing tool interface users can click through to select a poem and enjoy cscreating visual outputs with just words.

︎︎︎With the Drawing Poetry tool, users are able to toggle between various typeface options , change font size, color, and background color using the control panel. This controls the ‘brush’ that the user can create visual poetry with. Users can also toggle through the options of haiku’s on the bottom panel to change the words that appear as they draw with the mouse. After their drawing is finished, users can download their work in the form of an image file or clear the canvas to try again.
