Week 12 Assignment
For the past week, I have been working on mostly working on the main missing pieces of my project including getting more text and image sources, creating a ‘share your stories’ page, creating a custom domain, etc.
CURRENT VERSION OF PROJECT
I think that my project is at a good place but there is still a lot of work to be done in terms of fixing small design elements, and adding some animations. The one thing that I am still stuck on is whether I should include the p5 sketches that I have been working on because I have felt recently that they have become unnecessary (?) at a certain point and have become an after thought. I may ask for some user feedback in class to see what I should do about this and also something that I would like to further develop is the ‘stories’ page where users can share stories about these specific locations- I need to create a backend server file to store the user input data and make the interactions live and I would also like to add some sort of interactive element to it.
For the next week I plan to work on:
- Figuring out what to do with sketches?
- Developing stories pages further
- Final tweaks on rest of the site
- Possibly adding a page for resources for visitors to help out small businesses in NYC
