Week 13 - Playtesting
Create a working prototype of your final project to user test in class next week.

For the playtest of the final project, I played around with methods of creating a long scroll experience in p5.js. I used the mousewheel function to create the illusion of scrolling up while items of the sketch would move up and down the canvas. During the process, I did find a flaw in this method because I originally planned to create effects and animations based on where the user’s mouse was place on the scroll. However, this would not work with the mousewheel function because the canvas itself was staying the same and the mouse position was relative to the canvas and not the scroll.
I got some really valuable feedback during the playtest including:
-Adding a link to the video/trailer for each film
-Adding either quotes in mp3 form/adding the soundtrack throughout the scrolling experience -Instead of using mousewheel, making the canvas long in height to create actual scroll
-Possibly using camera position to move the canvas position
-Linking animation of images to mouse position in scroll
-Intro ovals might look like buttons
There was definitely a lot of room for improvement and exploration for the next stage of the project!
