︎︎︎I decided to refactor a sketch that I created during ICM- the original sketch was a calendar sketch in which many aspects were hard coded and had overlapping code. I updated the sketch by implementing the day, month, and year function so that the floating banner would indicate the current day and added the days of the week as well as changing the background color according to the month. I also implemented a loop function for the days of the calendar instead of hard coding each one- although I would have liked to figure out a way to update the calendar and the location of the numbers as they change throughout the year. In the current refactored sketch I am using multiple loop functions for each line of numbers because of the location of the numbers but would like to improve and figure out a programmatic approach to this issue as well.
︎︎︎In terms of creating a git repository, I was successful in creating a local repository and pushing it to my Github remotely, but was not able to access the page that was uploaded.
